Group Therapy

Group Therapy

By participating in group therapy, you may find increased support and understanding, gain new perspectives, and learn varied solutions for life's challenges. Group therapy can increase positive interpersonal experiences which nurture self-esteem and increase comfort in social settings. Group psychotherapy provides a safe place for people to feel supported around issues that are frequently experienced as stigmatizing.

Therapy groups are led by professionals with specialized training and clinical skills. Therapists gently guide participants toward important treatment goals beyond the benefits of self-help and peer facilitated support groups.

Prior to joining group therapy, Psychodrama New Jersey requires an intake appointment with a therapist to assess if group therapy will help you achieve your goals.
